Do you believe in fortune tellers?

ENGLISH PLEASE!

I consider myself a science person. I chose the science path on high school, and later I pick a social science career. I love sciencie, but I also love history. That's why neither I believe some apparently ilogical things.

This happened severl years ago. I was 16 and I was on my end-of-high school trip. We were in Cordoba, in front of the Mosque, and they were gipsy women doing palmistry. I had my head read, as many of my mates. I was with a friend (now ex-friend) and my then boyfriend
(not Mr. Knook).
While everybody were told the tipical things (you'll be happy, will have "x" childs...), when i got my hand read, the gipsy woman looked at me very seriously and began like this:

"You are going to have problems, some people you consider your friends, are going to betray you (looking at my friend out of the corner of her eye). A lot of people would try to hurt you because of envy. Luckily, you'll find someone who's gonna love you some much (she was not saying that I have already found it, my ex-boyfriend went panic), you'll have 2 children with him and you'll be, very happy."

The funniest thing is my ex-boyfriend was predicted he would have...¡3 children!. Something was wrong...After this, both my ex-friend and my ex-boyfriend spent half an hour swearing they love me and neither of them were going to hurt me.

I don't say it was on purpose, or they were the only to blame of the painful events 2 years after, I was also responsible, but the thing is that, at the present time, I don't have that boyfriend, nor that friend, and yes, I'm, by far, happier.
