Steam-cell research

Actor Michael J. Fox appears on a TV ad supporting Democratic Senate candidate for Missouri, Claire McCaskill, because of her support for embryonic stem-cell research.

For those of you that are not very fluent in english, here is the transcription:

"As you might know I care deeply about stem-cell research. In Missouri you can elect Claire McCaskill,who shares my hope for cures. Unfortunately, Senator Jim Talent opposes expanding stem cell research. Senator Talent even wanted to criminalize the science that gives us a chance for hope.  They said all politics is local, but that's not always the case. What you do in Missouri matters to millions of Americans. Americans like me."

Now, I don't care if he is exaggerating his disease or not, i don't mind. Just think, what is more important for us, religion or science?. My answer is pretty clear, maybe because I am not blind because of religion.
